Student Response System
Definition
A Student Response System (aka ÒclickersÓ) consists of a set of wireless keypads that enable students to answer questions and polls in class. Responses are collected and reported by a central computer (often the teacher computer) and displayed on the screen.
Features
SRS systems provide opportunities for real-time teacher-student interaction, automatic grading and reporting, and, typically, integration with PowerPoint. Teachers can display results of polls in a variety of formats including pie and bar charts and track and save individual or group responses over time. Many SRS systems include software that enables teachers to develop a variety of interactive activities and review games.
